The Challenge
Renovating an operating hotel presented challenges beyond the construction itself. The Best Western continued welcoming guests, hosting events in its banquet rooms, and maintaining daily operations while extensive improvements were underway.
Much of the renovation work had to be completed overnight to minimize disruption. Each morning, work areas needed to be cleaned, materials organized, and public spaces left presentable for guests and staff.
The project required careful scheduling, independent decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple renovation areas while maintaining the hotel’s professional appearance throughout construction.
Our Solution
With the hotel remaining fully operational, the renovation required a carefully managed approach. Much of the work was completed overnight, allowing construction to progress while keeping public areas clean, organized, and presentable for guests each morning.
The breakfast area was enclosed using metal stud framing and drywall, transforming the previously open space into a more defined dining area. Extensive commercial wallcoverings were installed throughout the lobby, banquet rooms, hallways, and bathrooms, alongside additional interior renovations and finish improvements.
With the hotel manager’s trust and full responsibility for coordinating the work, the project was carried out independently, balancing hands-on craftsmanship with the demands of an active hospitality environment.

The Results
The completed renovation gave the Best Western a refreshed, more cohesive appearance throughout its public spaces. Updated lobby areas, banquet rooms, hallways, and bathrooms featured new commercial wallcoverings, improved finishes, and a cleaner, more welcoming atmosphere for guests.
The former open breakfast area was transformed into a defined dining space, while extensive interior improvements brought consistency to the hotel’s overall appearance.
Perhaps the greatest accomplishment was completing these renovations while the hotel remained fully operational. Through careful scheduling, overnight work, and daily cleanup, the improvements were carried out with minimal disruption to guests, staff, and scheduled events.
